Studio B, a more intimate workspace than Studio A, is perfect for overdubbing, editing, and mixing. Though we’ve recorded full drum sets in the large iso booth attached to Studio B, it’s more often used for voice-over artists or singers and guitarists doing overdubs, and its size lends great ambience to these types of tracks. In addition to recording, Studio B is built around a Solid State Logic AWS 948 in-line analog console and DAW controller, so it’s often used to teach Sweetwater employees the ins and outs of this ultra-versatile SSL console.
Studios B and C share a wall, and panels between the two spaces can be moved aside to provide sightlines from Control Room B all the way through both tracking spaces and into Control Room C for simultaneous mixing.
